Is there anyone who doesn’t own a piece of the Victoria Beckham collection?! Well apart from us . . .
First Mel C stepped out wearing her pal’s designs, now Emma Bunton is rocking the Victoria Beckham collection. Geri Halliwell and Mel B must be wondering where their dresses have got to!
We love Emma Bunton’s abstract print frock, which Victoria herself modelled a strapless version of last year. Back in March, Mel C looked heavenly in a floor-length gown designed by her former band mate. And last week Jessica Simpson jumped on the Posh band wagon in a peplum-skirted frock – though some may say ill-advisedly.
Because the thing is about Mrs Beckham’s designs is that they will only ever look as good as the underwear underneath them – as Miss Simpson proves. So, take our advice ladies, if you are planning to showcase a VB design yourself don’t ruin the investment by skimping on your underwear.

Penny Jane knows that when it comes to swimsuits, one shape doesn’t fit all. So have a look at our guide below and learn how to flatter your shape;
Curvy Girl
If you are a curvy girl with a little waist and an ample bust, any swimsuit will work on your body, the swimsuit was made for you, right? Wrong, we all know that standard swimsuit sizes don’t actually fit all of our bodies correctly, so make sure you try on a number of different cuts and sizes, because looking good on the beach is all about having confidence as well as style
Large Breasts
Having a large bust can sometimes make it difficult to find a swimsuit that keeps you in proportion. You definitely want to be celebrating those curves rather than feeling self-conscious about them.
So go for a swimsuit which features an inner bra for extra lift and definition and again make sure you get the right size and shape to flatter your figure.

Nudes: Nude is the colour for Spring/Summer 2010. A nude dress works beautifully with tanned legs for easy elegance day or night. Alternatively, you can toughen the look up by adding a bold flash of black. Opaque tights can work if it’s not too hot, but a gorgeous biker jacket and chunky jewellery is key to making sure this look is edgy not girlie
Underwear: Think underwear as outwear – just a hint of lace will do. Or, pair last season’s bod-con body with loose silk trousers and a cropped jacket and remember, keep colours muted or monochrome.
Belts; A beautiful belt is key to pulling this season’s girly trends together. Add definition to a slim waist with a skinny waist belt or sharpen up dresses and playsuits with a broader version.

OK, so I think it is safe to say that the summer has officially arrived! But whether your summer plans involve living it up at one of the many festivals which are hosted up and down the country or sunning yourself at the beach, the on trend you can’t ignore this summer is Hawaiian prints.
That’s right, fire up the pina coladas and load up those lei because the Spring Summer catwalks this year were awash with tropical prints and the high street has been quick to follow.
But, if a full-on Magnum-PI inspired shirt isn’t quite your thing why not get a taste for tropical in one of our gorgeous Bikinis.
Lots of love,
Penny Jane

Slip on your Manolos and whip up a Cosmopolitan because – after an agonising two-year wait – the SATC girls are back. And they’re looking better than ever.
When the first pictures from the film emerged last August, showing Carrie and co in outfits so fantastical we were left screaming for more. And boy did we get them. There were snaps of Samantha poured into her trademark bandage dress; pictures of Charlotte looking so chic in her Chanel suits and stylish hats; Miranda also finally seem to have found her style in beautiful Diane Von Furstenberg prints and elegant wrap dresses. But what about Carrie?
Well the girl who first launched the underwear as outerwear trend in cute nightie dresses and sky scraper heels had a lot to live up to and boy does she deliver!
Girls, it’s great to have you back!

What are the new summers seasons fashion essentials and do we like them??
The Across-The-Body-Bag
Hip a little bit hobo and brilliantly hands free, the across-the-body-bag is a totally easy fashion update for your wardrobe. Sling them across blazers and T-shirts for understated chic.
The Clog
The clog is this season’s must have accessory. If you are considering this look think more Alexa Chung than Heidi and you will be going in the right direction.
The Spindle
After seasons of ugly statement shoes, we are here to tell you that this season it’s all about the elegant spindly heel. Phew!

So it looks like the summer is finally on its way . . . well OK there may be distinct chill in the air and it’s till advisable to take a jacket if you are one of the many people flocking to pub gardens, but the sun is in the sky and that’s all that matters to the well-heeled fashion pack.
But what about your summer wardrobe? How do you take last year pretty summer dress and make it look on-trend for this season? Well the first step is to try and toughen it up! The season, while floral’s and pastels reign supreme, they have a distinctly tougher edge. Confused? Have a look at our guide on how to do summer this season.
The Summer Dress
Flowery sundresses can be fashion minefield. To avoid looking like an out of place nine year old, cover up with this season’s military style jacket and some black opaque and ankle boots.
The Summer Blouse
Toughen up delicate print blouses with leathers and gladiator sandals for a look that is more fashion forward, less country mum.
Time to step into summer!

The underwear-as-outerwear trend isn’t going anywhere this season. But how do you pull it off without looking like a) a dirty stop-out, b) the type who gets escorted out of Tesco, or c) someone who spends a significant amount of time talking to themselves?
Well, it all depends on your choice of colour and accessories. Firstly choose and vibrant non-nightwear colour such as shocking pink or a vivid deep blue to avoid the ‘I forgot to put on my dress look.”
Next add some brilliant touches such as a statement clutch bag and a cutting edge leather jacket and there you have it, a great way to get more wear out of your underwear!

Beige isn’t looking so dull anymore! Get the neutral know-how with a tailored shift or go for oatmeal hued shoes
Underwear-wise spice up a neutral tone bra, with some beautifully detailed lace.
With this season’s pale accessories, beige needn’t be, well, beige . . .
Interpret pretty your way and the only rule is, keep it pale BUT interesting.
Lots of love,
Penny Jane

Mother’s age old advice: “Invest in good underwear” rings true this summer.
Expect to be flaunting your best bra and Lady Gaga-style pants. Not so brave? Opt for our version – look chic and crisp in our xxx lace corset paired with tailored trousers.
Or, go for gingham in a cropped short and white bustier combo.
Very Bardot!
Lots of love,
Penny Jane
